Measurement and understanding of compressed air consumption through use of a flow sensor can provide the foundation for energy savings. They can be integrated into machine and process design or used as an audit tool for existing installations.  In-line flow sensors continually monitor process parameters such as air flow rate, pressure and volume within a compressed air system to produce data indicative of pressure drops and other signs of airflow leaks.
